after seeing a new doctor at the lakeside.ca office in saskatoon a couple
weeks ago.

i had to wait a month to see the doctor for the first time.
i had gone to the web site and made the appointment. if you call them by
phone, they tell you that they would like you to do that, instead of talking
to the person on the phone. i inducated that i was to be a new patient. for
them to assign me the doctor.
also gave them a short info of the illness also at that time.

after seeing the doctor for the first time. the doctor dr. r. schubert,
tells me that he is a pediatrician and it will take about two weeks to see
him. he also added that sometimes he has to cancel appointment in the
morning, in order to go to the hospital.

after a few minutes of me, telling him about my illness. he starts to leave.
i ask him when i should see him about my diabetes. with a surprised look on
him he told me to set the appointment a few months later.

i do not know why the office would assign me a doctor that does not what to
deal with the older people.
he also told me that if i need to see him in an emergency, that i should
just come into there walk in part of the clinic. they had a sign for the
walkin that the wait would be 2 and half hours.

more than likely, the walk in clinc would be the way i would be seeing a
doctor at that office.
