An acquaintance jusst won the KRZR K1m cell phone in a contest here in
Saskatoon .
It is through Sasktel. As he is visually impaired he cannot use most of the
phone's capabilities.
He would like to sell the phone, along with a fifty dollar Sasktel
certificate and buy a Nokia 6682VRI  from Rogers which comes with "talking
software" which makes the phone accessible to someone who cannot see the
screen.

As shown in the link below, the phone sells for $79.00 with a three year
contract. What do you think would be a reasonable asking price for this
phone---including the $50.00 certificate?

This phone is new in box; it has not been activated.

I agree that phone is worth $377 without a contract assuming it is
contract free ....but people probably go for the dealer if you try sell
it for this price. Try $350 gives you some bargaining room to go down a
bit. With 3 yr contract maybe get $60 or so. I suggest selling it here
http://saskatoon.kijiji.ca/ IMHO

Depending on the colour, I might be interested. I was going to sign my wife
up on a plan with Sasktel for 3 years, and buy the same phone for $79.

Is the phone being sold unlocked, or must it be used with a Sasktel plan?
Did he win a plan too? What can the certificate be used for?

Reply can be sent here or to olddog7 on gmail. Thanks.
