Hey Everybody,
MathFest 2009 is a conference that will be held in Portland, OR on
August 6-8. That is of course quite a drive, not to mention housing
if you wanted to stay, but if anyone wanted to try and organize a
group, I might be interested. Registration is 50$ for students, and
unfortunately the math club will not be able to cover any costs on
this one.
Also, the Joint Mathematics Meeting in Jan 2010 is in San Francisco,
so we might be able to get school support over the fall, so if we
could start getting names as soon as possible for those interested, it
would help. I will of course remind people of this and more during
the fall semester as well.
