Position: Student Organizer Intern at San Jose State University
Salary: $11.00/hour; 10-15 hours/week
Position open date: October 20, 2009

Please Note: This position will begin in the spring 2010 semester. Applicant must be able to attend a mandatory intern training on January 23-24 in Sacramento (travel expenses, meals & lodging will be covered).

Who we are:
The California Faculty Association (CFA) represents over 23,000 CSU faculty throughout the state. From the beginning, CFA has been at the forefront in the battle to preserve the mission of the CSU as "the people's university."
The purpose of the CFA Internship program is to:
1. Increase student awareness of the campus-community labor issues that impact the university.
2. Develop an ongoing partnership with the student community in the CSU around issues CFA identifies as relevant to the University.
3. Promote student awareness of social justice issues and labor history.
