Well, here we are almost at the end of another exciting year of Orienteering !

There's still the Championships and the Trick or Treat meet left.

The Championships webpage is now live and has all the details needed. You should
note the following -

Individual start times are an offset from the meet start, depending on your
registration. The meet starts at 10:30 AM with Junior, Intermediate, Senior and
Elite courses. When you register, choose your course and indicate a choice of
start time. Check back later to get your official start time, please arrive at
the event at least 30 minutes before your start time. Allow 30 minutes drive
also from most parts of St. John's to Butterpot Park.

Most courses are likely to be wet, so please consider bringing a change of
clothes and footwear.

Registration is $6.00

To ensure you get a laminated map, please complete the registration by Tuesday
Oct 11 (election day). You can still register after Oct 11, however you'll get
a regular printed map.

Parking is available on the paved section of road at the Park Kiosk, then walk
back 5 minutes to the Nordic Ski Club building for the start area.

The Canadian Red Cross will be on-site in case of any need.

Although this is the Provincial Championships, it's still a regular Orienteering
meet and beginners are welcome.

Complete details are available on the website - www.sjoc.ca
