SJAA Friday 5-17
Hello SJAA Members and Friends, quick reminder, two things this Friday, 17 May... Starting at 9:15PM, the SJAA will host another of its regular, ever-popular in town star parties.  NWS says it will be mostly clear, so bring your scope, or just bring your eyes and your camaraderie, and be prepared to have a great time.  It really is a great group of folks who come out, and as always, the more, the merrier, especially with more kids and families, and with Saturn coming back around again, there are plenty of oohs and ahhs to go around! Official star party shutdown is midnight, btw, which is ok, all the kids are usually long gone by then.... more »

Hope you have some observing plans; Bonny Doon Airport, the Santa Cruz club's primary site, looks like it will see some photon gatherers on Saturday.
