In-Town Star Party Tonight in San Jose

Hello SJAA Members and Friends,

Reminder about tonight's in town public star party at San Jose's Houge Park.

As we're getting deeper into spring, we're having to start a bit later. Official hours are from 8:45 to 11:45PM. If you have a scope and want to bring it, please do, and you can show up a bit earlier so you can set up before it's entirely dark.  Also, if you have a scope and perhaps aren't sure how to use it, by all means, bring it and there will be people there who would be glad to give you a hand.  We really do have a good, friendly group of folks who come out to these star parties.

Weather looks great, but always hedge your bets and bring a jacket. A covering for your head is always a good idea after dark too since space likes to suck the heat from your scalp, I've found. Nothing like a cold noggin to make you miserable.

We set up by the tennis courts so please try and come on out.
