Hello Imagers,

I am excited to announce that for our next meeting of the Imaging SIG, John Wainwright will be conducting our first seminar on Introduction to Astro-Image processing.  This is scheduled for May 24 at 7:30PM at the hall at Houge Park.

This is a topic of great interest and even though there is a lot of material out there, most new comers to this hobby quit the hobby due to the seemingly insurmountable challenges faced during image processing.

John and I have been talking about putting together some great material and examples for this seminar. He will also be spending a good amount of time talking about how to get started using PixInsight.

This is one meeting that you do not want to miss. Given the extra time we may need to cover all the material I have extended it by 30 minutes, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm.
