SJAA This Weekend - 5/25

Hello SJAA Members and Friends, here's an update on the general meeting, coming up this Saturday, 25 May.

We will host Dr. Steven Beckwith, Professor of Astronomy from the University of California.

His talk is entitled, "The Dawn of Creation: The First Two Billion Years".  Dr. Beckwith will begin at 8PM.

Preceding the talk, starting at 6:30PM, the SJAA will host a potluck.  Bring some edibles to share, cold or hot, there will be 110VAC available for your crock pot.  These have always been a great social time in the past, and we anticipate the same this time!  The SJAA will provide the hard goods (paper plates, utensils, napkins), so you just need to bring the soft goods (as well as a serving spoon, if required).
