Dear all Aikidoka and families,
Hope you and your families doing well during this challenging time. Shelter-in-place order is not yet loosen for us to resume the practice at our dojo. Tenshinkai Aikido SJ staff would like to create some activities to help everyone stay in shape and healthy while at home.

PLEASE READ & RESPOND - AIKIDO EMAIL & ONLINE CLASSES

1. PLEASE SEND US YOUR GOOGLE EMAIL ADDRESS BY 05/15/2020: We need to update the email addresses of all who want to be in touch with the San Jose Tenshinkai Aikido news and online lessons while the shelter-in-place (SIP) order is still active until we can resume the practice at the dojo again. Please provide a Google email account.
- The reason we need your google email accounts because of our selection of Google Hangouts (a.k.a. Google Meet) as a tool for the dojo online lessons. 
Google Hangouts is free, unlimited, and relatively good quality compared to other tools. In addition, most kids are using it for their school sessions. We evaluated Zoom and the free account only limits to 40 minutes. Other tools either have lower quality, logistic or time limits. It is available for all products including Apple, Android, Windows devices.
2. ONLINE LESSONS:
- When we form a new Google mail group, we will invite you to accept that mail group.
- This mail group will be our method of communication for all online sessions. 
- We intended to hold the live online lessons and encourage all family members, including parents, other adults, and kids, to attend whether you are a dojo member or not.  Adults are encouraged to practice with your kids so that they have more incentive to attend. Time for the online sessions will be announced later.
- We may also share other online resources to this email group. You will have the option to receive the email per individual email or once a day, once a week, etc.

XIN ĐỌC VÀ TRẢ LỜI - AIKIDO EMAIL & LỚP HỌC ONLINE

1. XIN GỞI LẠI CÁC GOOGLE EMAIL CỦA QUÝ VỊ TRƯỚC NGÀY 15 tháng 5 năm 2020: Email này sẽ là phương tiện liên lạc giữa lớp học và gia đình cho tới khi chúng ta có thể trở lại lớp bình thường. Xin nhớ phải là Google Email.
- Lý do chúng ta phải cần dùng Google Email là vì ban Huấn Luận Viên (HLV) đã chọn Google Hangouts (còn gọi là Google Meet) là vì ứng dụng này miễn phí, không bị cho dùng chỉ có 40 phút hay đòi hỏi phải cho coi quảng cáo, v.v. như các ứng dụng khác. Google Hangouts dùng được trên các điện thoại di động của Apple, Android, và máy vi tính các loại. 
2. CÁC LỚP HỌC ONLINE: 
- Sau khi nhận các email của quý vị, Ban HLV sẽ mời quý vị vào 1 Google Mail Group.
- Google mail group này sẽ là phương tiện liên lạc để dạy và học online.
- Các lớp học online sẽ mở cho tất cả mọi người lớn và trẻ em tại gia đình của quý vị, không chỉ là các học viên hiện tại. Phụ Huynh nên tập với con em để khích lệ tinh thần các em. Thời khóa biểu các lớp sẽ được thông báo sau.
- Ban HLV cũng sẽ gởi thêm các tài liệu online bằng Google Mail Group này. Quý vị có thể chọn nhận các thông tin theo dạng mỗi email hay gộp lại một lần mỗi ngày, mỗi tuần, v.v.

Dear all,
Thank you those who have replied with a google email address. Your emails are added to our new group mail.

If you haven't had a chance to reply with your google email address, please  remember to do so by 05/15/2020. If you don't have a google email, you can quickly create one. Please let me know if you have trouble doing so.

Hopefully, by the 17th of May, you will receive invitation to join our online free class using Google Hangouts (a.k.a Google Meet). This is one of the reason why we need your google email addresses. Another reason is this new google group email will be used for our online communicate in daily basic.

It is final season now. If you are still in school, we wish you have a successfully final.
