Hi Chris, a quick reference question for you: A friend of mine heads up a
consulting company and he has a long term contract opening for a
manufacturing ops program manager who works with drive vendors and deals
with quality requirements. This is for a local high tech firm who is
getting into storage. The gag is for at least one year or maybe longer.

*2. Position Title: *HDD reliability Consultant/Expert

*Description:*

For one of our new and key projects we are looking for HDD reliability
Expert. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in HDD Disk Defect
Management in a storage system lifecycle environment.

*Responsibilities:*

· To be the storage system’s quality management Expert and be responsible
for quality management of HDD reliability across life cycle.

· Help Current team to build the best quality process of HDD management.
And adopted best test methodology and procedure for the HDD. Help current
team to improve and build best HDD Quality management system across the
lifecycle of HDD

*Required Skills:*

· Good understanding of HDD Quality management system, HDD test Process and
methodology, HDD failure mode and management experience.

*Preferred Skills:*

· In-depth understanding of HDD Quality management system.

· HDD reliability design and realization experience.

· Experience on designing block virtualization for HDD’s reliability or
Storage base on Desktop HDD reliability.

· Experience on HDD Healthy validation and prediction.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cooperative manner
