All, some reviews of Sir Les Patterson's recent performances in Sydney
and Melbourne. I attended the performance at The Arts Centre,
Melbourne 16 December 2009 at the Hamer Hall, 25 years since Barry
Humphries last performed at this venue. His performance at Sydney
Opera House, his first ever!
It was a great evening!

indeed, a full run down of topics discussed, general appearance and
beverages consumed shall be posted to this site shortly after the
performance, and any other points of interests, including a rumour
that Sir will be making a tilt for PM.

Hi Possums...does anybody know where I can get a set of Sir Les's
teeth. I go out every new year impersonating the great man and my
teeth let me down every time.

Oh no Carl! This is bad news. I wonder why ticket sales are so poor? I
really hope the show comes back in theatre form, perhaps a more modest
production rather than in an arena!

Hi Dale,

As far as the tour goes it looks like the U.S. one finished in June
and the U.K. one starts in September that's according to the Dame Edna
site ([link]). After that who knows. If
I hear anything then I'll post it on the site.

Emily Perry dies at 100...

As I only read last night, and Dale emailed me this morning, the
actress Emily Perry has died at the age of 100. Not strictly Sir Les
related but worth mentioning here.
