Hi All,

Short but sweet, in general loving sioc - but finding it impossible to
implement in a few places due to limitations in the ontology, which
could be addressed easily(?)

Prior to mentioning them, one question which will enable me to work
around the later mentioned items; is it good practise / ok to give a
resource several types? particularly I need something to be both a
Site and a Container, often a Community and Container, and very
frequently a UserGroup and a Container.

Suggested changes.. (in order of how strongly I feel about them)
1: Space be a subclass of Container
2: usergroup_of and has_usergroup be moved to the range of Container
rather than Space
3: UserGroup be a subclass of Container
4: removal of has_moderator, moderator_of, has_administrator,
administrator_of in favour of using Role(s) instead.
5: Community be a subclass of Container

I can give use cases and reasons for each of the items listed above,
however I'll leave them out for now.

Many Regards,

Nathan

after a quick chat with Kingsley, most of this can be addressed by
giving multiple types to a resources (as long as the types are not
disjointWith each other; which has addressed my immediate blocker;
points may still worth be considering though (apart from 5 which I'll
rephrase to:
5: CommunityA dcterms:hasPart CommunityB; any reason not to do this?
)

regards!
