windows xp service pack 3 සඳහා නිවැරදි ව සිංහල ස්ථාපනය කර ගන්නේ කෙසේද? www.siyabas.lk හා www.locallanuages අඩවි වලින් උත්සාහ කල මුත් එය 100% ක් නිවැරදිව ක්‍රියාත්මක නොවෙයි

. මෙය නිවැරදිව කරගන්නා අයුරු පහදා දෙන්න.

අපි සාමාන්‍ය විදියට xp service 2 වලට  සිංහල ස්ථාපනය කරන අාකාරයට උත්සාහ කළා . නමුත් නියමා කාරයට ක්‍රියාත්මක වෙන්නේ නැහැ. මෙම ගැටලුව නිරාකරණය කර ගැනිමට පිළිතුරක් බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන‍වා

කොම්බුව, ඇලපිල්ල, පාපිල්ල ප්රශ්නය..

වින්ඩෝස් එක්ස්පී එස්පී 3 (Windows XP Sp3) භාවිතා කරන සමහර කොම්පියුටරවල
කොම්බුව හරිතැනට එන්නේ නෑ. මේකට හේතුවනම් usp10.dll හි අනුවාදය නිවැරදි
එකක් නොවීමයි. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniscribe

සිංහලවලට හරියන අනුවාදය වන්නේ 1.601.5022.8 නමුත් සමහර පරිඝණකවල එය
1.420.2600.5512 ලෙස තිබේ. මෙවිට මෙම සිංහල විදහාපෑම නිවරදිව සිදු
නොවෙයි. ඔබ කලයුත්තේ නිවරදි ගොනුව ප්රතිස්ථාපනය කිරීමයි.

ඔබේ වර්ථමාන අනුවාදය සොයාගන්නා අයුරු:

c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSinfo\msinfo32.exe

ඔබට අවශ්යවන්නේ මුළු පද්දතිය පුරාවට බලපාන ලෙස වෙනස් කිරීමටනම් c:\windows
\system32\ හි වෙනස් කල යුතුය. නමුත් ඔබට අවශ්ය ලියැලුම සඳහා පමනක් වෙනස්
කිරීමට අදාල තැනට පිටපත් කරන්න.
eg:
c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\
D:\Program Files\Opera

Note
c:\windows\system32\ හි වෙනස් කිරීමට ඔබත සේෆ් මෝඩ් (safe Mode) වලින්
පටන් ගත යුතුය.

Thanks for the post. But the link you gave downloads usp10.dll but its
version is 1.0420.2600.2180 ( go RMB/Properties/Product version ) so I
dont think this will work. I did not try but would like to have ur
help to understand why it does not download the version 1.601.5022.8.

I ve wirtten about this problem to a person called B. Mahesh Kooragama
| Project Assistant [ GIC ] / Sinhala Unicode Technical Assistant. But
did not get any reply that is helpful. My letter is as follows.

I have not yet able to to install the Sinhala properly to my PC.
I have found the error. I m running XP sp 3

When the set up program for SP3 is run ( downloaded from Siyabas ) ,
it tries to replace following .DLL files and some other system files
in Winodws32.

c:\windows\System32\usp10.dll
c:\windows\system32\kbdinmal.dll
c:\windows\system32\kbdinben.dll
c:\windows\system32\kbdinbe1.dll
c:\windows\system32\kbdinkan.dll
c:\windows\system32\kbdintel.dll
c:\windows\system32\kbdinpun.dll
c:\windows\system32\kbdinmar.dll
c:\windows\system32\kbdintam.dll
c:\windows\msagent\intl\agt0401.dll
c:\windows\msagent\intl\agt040d.dll

and following .NLS files ( I don’t know where they are located ) .

locale.nls.
sortkey.nls
sorttbls.nls

But once installation is run, Sinhala does not work. ( in regional
settings Sinhala cant be seen) .

The reson for this is , when set up program tries to install
( replace ) above DLLs, windows file protection ( WPF) replace them
back to the original. This can be seen in the event viewer\system.
See below.

File replacement was attempted on the protected system file c:\windows
\system32\kbdinmal.dll. This file was restored to the original version
to maintain system stability. The file version of the bad file is
6.0.6000.16386, the version of the system file is 5.1.2600.5512.

I tried to hack WPF and install the Sinhala tamil kit. No success.
I wonder how ppl use this set up program?
