Hi Folks,
It was another good meeting this month, pity I had to leave early. Thanks Jason, Tze Yang and all who pitched in on the git discussion.
Looking forward to the next meetup in Dec (maybe we should do something special for the last meet of 2009?)
Can I ask you all a favour? I've got another new site running, and would really like your feedback. If you have a moment, take a look at http://cloudjetty.com and let me know your thoughts, yes?
The site's intended to help people find the "cloud" services that are relevant for them with as little fuss as possible. Currently it is just a community-managed catalog, but I have bigger plans for it;-)
So if you got anything to say - browser issues? usability problems? don't get it? Slow? (NB: currently just running with 1 dyno at heroku so I don't expect it to handle many concurrent users well) Anything - like to hear it.
The site is currently in stealth but I'd like to start publicising soon ...
(& thanks to Herry for being the right gentleman about the *jetty name;-)
