i can share my experience from ~1.5yrs ago and i can compare it to git
and svn too.
there is a quite extensive and real world example based comparision on
distributed revision control systems here:
http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/wiki/DarcsEvaluation
BUT it's outdated, since darcs development continued afterwards and
the problems are fixed now.
i read the whole thread and despite of that fact that the authors
concluded that - at that time - git is the way to go, i still think
the examples in the article show very nicely how much simpler,
elegant, convenient is darcs and how pityful is the naming and the
procedures of the other systems.
