Spritle, a software services company is offering free development of
your SmartPhone app ideas. The app will be made available on iPhone,
Android and on Windows Phone platform as we will using Rhomobile
http://www.rhomobile.com platform.

Spritle, a company specializing in Ruby on Rails development have
started venturing on developing cross platform mobile apps using
Rhomobile or PhoneGap. We picked Rhomobile since its based on Ruby and
its also open source. Having developed 5 enterprise level mobile apps
for the Retail and Customer industry using Rhomobile platform, now we
would like to expand our knowledge by developing open source apps with
it.

Rhomobile platform is getting lots of tractions ever since it got
acquired by Motorola solutions. With Motorola having its strong
"devices" presence in Retail, Health and other such industries,
Rhomobile platform is expected to play a key role in providing
solutions for such industries.

One quick question if I may, how do you think rhomobile compares/rates against phonegap or titanium? what made you choose the former over those two?

Thanks for your appreciation and wishes.

In our perspective rhomobile is a very good solution for developing
corporate and enterprise mobile apps.
The biggest power of rhomobile is "rhoconnect" which lets you connect
with enterprise backend.
Enterprise companies wouldn't mind spending US$10K per annum for
rhoconnect as their IT budget is mostly in Millions.

A simple apps (or medium) both rhomobile and phonegap is a good fit.

We picked rhomobile because our strength is Ruby and Rhomobile,
rhoconnect were all written in Ruby.

There was some concerns about Performance of Rhomobile apps but it is
very case specific. It worked very well for syncing 10K rows of data
in less than 30 secs.
