referral fees based on this idea would be a good idea.
I realize this is out of the scope of the discussion regarding the
specification and can be added to the product's url, but still
something worth looking at.

Thanks for getting in touch with me regarding SSD. Honestly, I didn't
pursue things further because of advancement in my career (lack of
time). Categories would be handled in the taxonomy section of an SSD
document.

i just found it hard to believe this didn't take off in popularity.
Taking an rss approach to promote products just seemed natural.

I agree, I honestly think I wrote it a little before its time. That's
sort of why I still keep the site up, I'm thinking one day someone might
have an aha moment.
