Error during install

I get the following error message during installation, when
downloading it from the internet

Fatal error: Extracted file ./simple_cache/installer/
SimpleGroupware_0.642/src/webdav.php does not have the correct file
size '7680' (15565 expected). Archive may be corrupted. in /srv/http/
gcrl.info/sgs/sgs_installer.php on line 314

and if I instead download he tar.gz file myself and place it in the
sgs folder I get following,

[5] Error: file-check [0] SimpleGroupware_0.642.tar.gz

Any ideas?

Hello,

have you checked if you're using the latest installer? "Simple Groupware Installer v5"
The file size of SimpleGroupware_0.642.tar.gz should be 4811180 bytes.

I updated to v5 now, but still can not install Simple Groupware, the
filesize of the tar.gz is correct.
but for some reason it keeps complaining on the webdav file.
I still get the same eror message only difference now with v5 is that
I get the same message either if I download the file through the
script or manually and placeing in the same folder.

Hello,

you can try to extract the tar.gz manually and run the setup from "http://sgs-server/sgs-dir/src/index.php".
