Change hour index in the top band?

Hi,
I'm trying to use timeline to depict events that happen over a few
hours. The rub is two-fold.
1) It appears Exhibit is trying to use Zulu, or GMT, time.
2) It's using a 24 hour scale, for example 18:00 instead of 6 p.m.
My time is formatted like this...
1963-11-22 18:00:00
You know, now that I type that in, it's giving me exactly what I
enter. But how do I get it to display 6:00 p.m. instead of 18:00?
