programming Kernel > 2M in flash memory
|
| |
Hi list, I'm still playing with access RAM in 32-bit mode, most because I do don't want to halve the amount of RAM.. ;) I got very strange trouble on a pair of sim1 v1.3. I can program (write to flash memory) only a kernel made with minimal set of drivers, if I try to program one of the Debian EABI Kernel... more »

The very last hardware bug
|
| |
The only unresolved hardware/software problem I know of with the Sim.One is that sometimes is locks solid on power-on, with the red LED lit constantly. The AN258 workround should detect this and toggle the reset line, but evidently doesn't work on any of the 4 sim.one's I have. Can anyone see the error in the circuit diagrams or track layouts?... more »

|
| |
...I'm confused - how did a private email to Martin end up in some Cirrus related mailing list? ...[...] ...Well this patch set wasn't meant for public review. It's just a hack I'm working on which was going to evolve into something which could be considered into mainline. I totally agree with you that we should try to use an existing framework. These... more »

More about SD-Card problems
|
| |
Hello, I've been investigating this SD-Card problem for a while and I think it's time to share my observations. As we know, 'apt-get update' is very good in triggering the problem. I've managed to reduce it into a small test program which almost always causes the card to fail. The program is attached... more »
