DataObject::get changes

Hi guys,

I'm just curious about the interface that is DataObject::get and it's cousins. When and why did it change from returning an empty DataObject set when there are no results to returning null?

Hey Michael,

as far as I'm aware DataObject::get never returned an empty DataObjectSet (quickly checked the log at http://open.silverstripe.com/browser/modules/sapphire/trunk/core/model/DataObject.php). 

Perhaps you're confusing this with getComponent*() methods?
