Q: I was not able to ascertain from the website if SilverDox can
support viewing PDF documents in an out-of-browser (OOB) scenario.
Does SilverDox support the OOB scenario? Please let me know.

A: You can definitely use SilverDox in out-of-browser (OOB) scenario.
Please keep in mind that SilverDox viewer does not view PDF, MS
Office, and other document formats directly (at least at the moment).
It only views Silverlight XPS (a.k.a. XOD) files which can be
generated using SilverDox Publisher. SilverDox Publisher is typically
used on the server side to convert PDF, MS Office and other formats to
Silverlight XPS. This can be done either dynamically or (preferably) a
single time when document is added to your document repository. You
are free to save the converted Silverlight XPS to out-of-browser cache
for offline or browser independent viewing. SilverDox files can also
be viewed and printed with Windows XPS Document viewer (unless you
choose to secure them with DRM). For a quick introduction to
