Subject: WORKSHOP : Perth : ScreenWest Digital Workshop program
Digital Development Program 2009/10

Over the next 12 months ScreenWest will be rolling out a new generation
of digital development programs, events and opportunities.

This is the next step in implementing a digital strategy that has been
developed by ScreenWest over the last two years.

The program will make several major events and funding opportunities
available in order to both upskill local film and TV  production
companies, introduce WA digital companies to multiplatform broadcast
opportunities and to offer networking opportunities for all
practitioners living and working in WA.

The first event is an intensive two day ALL MEDIA STORYTELLING WORKSHOP
on multiplatform production and 360 commissioning for documentary and
dramatic television hosted by International Emmy award winning producer
  Marcus Gillezeau.

All interested practitioners including established and emerging
production companies as well as digital companies are invited to
consider attending this excellent two day course which will cover many
of the important issues regarding developing ideas, selecting the right
platforms, producing appropriate content, funding, marketing and
distributing your project. It will also cross over between traditional
film and TV production and non-broadcast content producers. It should
provide an excellent base for the numerous additional workshops and
initiatives that are planned for the next twelve months.

A full draft outline of the two day course and a biog of Marcus
Gillezeau are attached.

ALL MEDIA WORKSHOP - The Firelight Model

I hope you or your colleagues can join ScreenWest and AFTRS at this two
day event.

We are also arranging a series of further workshops and funding
initiatives TBA to be rolled out over the next twelve months. One of
these will include follow up one-on-one meetings with Marcus to discuss
projects in late December.
