I'd like to see some in-depth coverage of using wxGlade and a complex
user interface (or a few of them) using wxPython. This is obviously
just a suggestion.

there is an upcoming club series by me covering just this,
coincidently. We also have a series focusing on PyQt and Qt-designer.
PyQt is starting to look very impressive IMO.

Cool! Unfortunately the Qt license looks like it might cause us some
issues so I'm wary of that. Also (and this is only word of mouth) Qt
used to cause some issues with Mac users. Unless that's not the case
anymore, I can't take that chance. This is second hand knowledge
though.

Thanx again!!

I was wary of Qt for just this reason but they have recently changed
their licensing conditions - I find the new ones much more agreeable.
If you haven't checked it out for a while there are changes afoot that
might make it worth a look. On the other hand, wxpython is pretty
wonderful itself, but has nothing to really compare with QtDesigner,
much as I like wxGlade. We're lucky to have the choice of two such
cool projects (not to mention PyGTK).

I will definitely revisit this issue by reviewing the licensing.

I visited the Trolltech site and read up on the licensing. I sen off
a message to them to ask for more clarification on something, but I
may actually use Qt! When is the PyQt and QtDesigner series coming
out, do you know yet?

the research is done and everything annotated - should be through in
the next 2-3 months, maybe sooner.
