  I&#39;ve used the technique with VirtualDubMod (not VirtualDub) many times, for over a year - it worked every time for me. &lt;br&gt; I forget to save with DirectStreamCopy sometimes and it would dump a huge (gigabytes) file. I never had a problem with only getting the audio. &lt;br&gt; Which video-codec are you using? Presumably the CamStudio Lossless Codec?

  This is strange, I tried my laptop &amp;amp; desktop on my DSL modem and it &lt;br&gt; was so slow I could hardly watch them. I test my videos on 2 different &lt;br&gt; ISP and 1 on the same ISP that I have, they had no problems. &lt;br&gt; I just tried my videos again and I have NO problems now. I still think &lt;br&gt; it is slower than my friends DSL but the videos work good now.

  Hmm, I had seen the click at the start and figured there was a glitch. When you draw the animations for the bus it all seemed to by in sync so I didn&#39;t worry. &lt;br&gt; I think it does &#39;all work&#39; though. I&#39;m going to have to point the finger at your CamStudio I&#39;m afraid, I know that it suffers from audio/video sync issues on longer videos. &amp;gt;3 minute videos in my experience go out of sync. This used to be a problem on my laptop, but not on my desktop, I think it depends on the audio hardware and drivers per machine.

  hi guys, &lt;br&gt; sorry i&#39;ve been out of it - my internet&#39;s been down as Ian mentioned. &lt;br&gt; @gasto - i&#39;ve had similar problems with audio desynccing and have come &lt;br&gt; to the conclusion (along with many others) that ffmpeg has some &lt;br&gt; issues, particularly with oggs (in my case straight out of &lt;br&gt; recordmydesktop). I got around this problem by using mencoder locally

  Second 5 of the video there is a strange cut. It is very clear to &lt;br&gt; behold the desync when I am doing the draft drawing with GIMP, audio &lt;br&gt; is apparently late, video shows pseudo code, and 15 seconds later I &lt;br&gt; start talking about it. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;the camstudio play doesn&#39;t have this problem. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Salutes, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Gasto.
