Pujya Sri Narasimha Swamiji, Founder, All India Sai Samajam, Mylapore,
Chennai-600004. The forward begins with a Sanskrit sloka , though there are
many books about Baba , The reviewer goes on saying the most easiest
to reap the maximum effort is Sai Sahasranama.
Though this is in Sanskrit the verses contain many
terms which are well understood by people talking any language. This is like a
nectar. Each and every nama describes the one incident or character closely
associated with Baba.
The Sahasranama composed by Pujyasri Narasimha
Swamiji is being chanted in Shirdi as well as in many of the shrines of the
Baba.
Sai Sahasranama can be chanted in the same tune as
Vishnu Sahasranama. Baba always asked his devotees to chant Vishnu Sahasranama.
When He was in the physical realm, He never told that He is a God . He has told
how He has been cured of his Chest ailment when he hugged Vishnu Sahasranama.
Many know about Sai Sahasranamavali and not about
Sai Sahasranama Stotra. This sahasranama can be chanted at home or at temple ,
or, where there is a huge gathering of devotees. The presence of Baba can be
felt and the vibration will also be there. This can be chanted in front of a
Babas idol.
The first phrase Om Aganda Satchidanandaya Namaha
itself has so many meanings.
The Sanskrit version has been transliterated in
tamil By Sri.Seshadri. He has done in a such a manner that it can be easily
understood by devotees. Who know tamil and who have tamil as their mother tongue.
