Sairam we have heard about devotees doing Padyatra from
various places to shirdi, The devotees carry a Palki or just walk down to
Shirdi.
The meaning of Padyatra means walking on foot with or
without footwear to Shirdi from different
places of India. This practice is
followed based on the Padyatra to Pandarpur by devotees of Vitobha. Padyatra to
Shirdi is a unique experience by devotees. There are many instances where
devotees walked to Shirdi without any money and just sustained themselves on
Bhiksa they got on the way to Shirdi. Here is a beautiful experience of
