ShiftEdit on iPad

to ShiftEdit - Web based IDE

I'm sure the information is somewhere but I couldn't find it: I'm
trying to write (and execute) Ruby code on ShiftEdit. I works fine on
a Mac using a Chrome browser, but it doesn't work on the iPad (using
Safari) -- you can't enter any text, the app seems "frozen." Is there
a work-around or is this not supported?

I don't have an ipad to test on but try switching to codemirror in preferences.
