Hi Adam,

Thanks for the reply. I finally figured out a work around to this, which didn't seem obvious. I did try right-clicking, and as I said in my post there's a menu that comes up...from Firefox, not from ShiftEdit (see screenshot attached, of the menu that comes up when I right click). I finally tried clicking something on *that* menu, which brought up the menu from ShiftEdit underneath. I've been clicking "Copy Link Location", as it's the least problematic.

It's still odd to do it this way, but it's a work-around I can live with. I would say this "works in Firefox" with some caveats. None the less, I'm still in awe of ShiftEdit!

Thanks,
Mara Alexander

I'm not sure how you got that...I can't remember a time that Firefox didn't have the right click context menu (I've used FF since 2003). I tried Firefox in Safe mode, and I get the same thing I've been getting...the context menu. ::shrugs::

Using Firefox 13.0.1 (it's been out for a few weeks now), on Windows (XP and Vista).

Looking at your screenshot again, I figured it out. In your screenshot I see a warning "This website (shiftedit.net) is asking...."

My guess is under your Firefox settings, you have "Enable Javascript -> Advanced Javascript Settings: Allow scripts to disable or replace context menus" enabled. That would explain it.

Yes. :) And what I see so far of ShiftEdit, I absolutely love, thank you so much! I suspect you're going to have another Pro user is the very near future. :)

Thanks so much for your help and replies.

P.S. I wasn't thinking when I replied by email...and see Google Groups posts my Gmail address, publicly. Any chance you could edit that out from your reply? Thanks so much!
