Middle Eastern Drum Classes!with Brett Bowen
New small-group class starting Wednesday, December 14th, 7:30 to 8:30pm! We need at least four students committed to make the class happen so let me know soon.

Classes are $15 each ($12 each when you pre-pay for the 6 week session)
 
Location: A cozy dance/music studio at 7956 Joan Dr, Denver, CO 80221, near the intersection of I-25 and Hwy 36, with easy freeway access from all directions.
Hi, just after I posted about the new drum class starting Dec 7th, I was contacted by two Boulderites wanting to have a class in Boulder.
We have a place lined up (near Broadway and Table Mesa) and only need interested students.  We would need at least five students, paid in advance for the six week session, to make it happen, and it would most likely be on Saturday mornings or early afternoons.
 
Don’t own a doumbek? I can provide you a loaner for the first class, and I can help you order a quality doumbek at far less than music store prices.

***I have had some requests to start a deff (Arabic frame drum) class and a riq (Arabic tambourine) class. If you are interested in these wonderful Mid-Eastern instruments, please inquire! I can also help you find one of these instruments if you need one.
 
Dance instructors: Brett is available to play drums for your dance classes. Call or e-mail for arrangements.
 
Private drum lessons: available by appointment.
