Singer/songwriter Shem Booth-Spain is the brainchild behind the stylish dance sounds of Cybernetic Times, A Warm Place and Multiverse. The slick combination of Shem’s earnest vocals, loose electric guitars, and glossy synthesizer is well-suited for fans of the Killers, Beatles and Muse. Prior to creating the new wave revival mix of Gemini Critical Mass, Shem fronted the post-psychedelic band M.V.D. while at Art School, Shem then moved to London and studied a masters in Sonic Culture and began working on new material and with other musicians in a fresh start at the London music scene. Gemini Critical-Mass was born within months and while putting the finishing touches on his self-titled debut album, Shem has performed at clubs, pubs & festivals. Shem Studied Fine Art at Kent Institute of Art & Design and Sonic Culture at University of East London. From painting, sculpture, electro acoustic experimental music to Sonic Art, this prolific artist’s work are both Sonic and Visual abstractions of a masterful mind, his work and idea's represent a new generation of Digital Art in our cybernetic times. With Corporate commissions and private collections in Italy, France, England and China, He works internationally in research and applied new-media Arts.
