FYI -  for discussion at July 9^th meeting.

There are a couple of errors in this quote,  size,  adding, etc.  but the bottomline pricing is right.

 

First post = $545.85 any others $346.85 depending on whether we want mile post designation or not.

Received the pricing back from VT and this is what has come back….

 

The Post which would be 8”x8”x 4’-0” Thermal 2 sides ( this is the side the art work would go on) and Rock Face on two sides is 115.60 per post.

 

As far as the art work goes there is a one time set up fee for the art work. This is to transfer the art work that is sent to our plant from your format into our format and then reworked where needed. The one time set up fee is $199.00

 

Then to engrave each post with the art work is $219.00 per side, plus any lettering on top of the post. Ex. 1.5 Mil would be an extra $12.25

 

The total on one post engraved on one side with 1.0 Mil on top would be  $199.00+$119.00+$115.60+$12.25= $545.85

 

Each post after that would be $346.85. Again for the art work and lettering on ONE side. You would need to add $231.25 to that for the second side to be done as well.

We would like the posts to be 42”-4’ tall.  Yes, there is only one color green for the picture. Everything else is carved in.

Would be more than happy to give you a quote I just need to know how tall you would like the over all height of the post to be.

 

Also is the paint one color only? All green paint as the path, trees, sue ect would be the stone color or do you want these to be white? If it is a two color job it will add to the over all cost of the job.

My name is Erin, I work with Tate & Associates, LLC.  John Megliarese, Jim Tate and I visited your yard on Friday June 20^th. Attached is a photo composite describing the finished piece that we are looking to produce.  This piece will be for the City of Shelton Conservation Commission. Please provide us with an estimate for producing a piece similar to the photo attached in a quantity of one and five. We would like to have this estimate before July 8^th. The granite post in the picture is roughly 8” x 8”.  It should be something that looks nice for a reasonable price.  I will follow up with a call later in the week.
