OK, this one's just in time to add to that list of "this might make a good holiday gift" quickie items! You know those inexpensive glass jar candles at Walmart, Target, etc.? This is a cover designed to fit the lids of those large and small jars, done in thread. I've called it the Fantasy Flower Beaded Candle Drape/Mini Doily and you can get the free pattern here. If you work this in size 10 thread/size 7 hook, it fits the 4" candle. If you work it in size 20 and a 9 hook, it fits the 2" size. Now how handy is that. (It was total serendipity, I can't take credit:) It's designed for 2+ colors, making it a good scrap thread project, although it worked up nicely in white as well. You be the judge.
