Once PyPy gets (micro)numpy support in a public build I suspect that
things will hot up - all of a sudden regular Python folk will be
exposed to the fact that they can generate C-speed algorithms with
little work (and with a bit more via SS/Cython maybe go even faster).
It should make for an interesting time over the next 12 months!
