1) Introduce yourself, and mention the sort of stuff you are
interested in

Hi there,
I joined recently, saw this, so thought I'd say hi :)
I live about an hours drive from Cambridge, hopefully will make one of
the meetups in the future...
My current fun project is http://www.mibbit.com - an online IRC/IM
client. Plenty of things left to do+fix with it.
I'm more of a software guy than hardware, but have done a few hardware
bits+pieces in the past
- harder to blow things up in software though :D

Hello all,
Just joined - wanted to say hello. I'm a 3rd year undergrad
engineering student at Churchill College - have been getting slowly
into more and more circuit bending and DIY electronics and
construction.
My hardware+software microcontroller proj that I've just finished is
http://www.srcf.ucam.org/~akd33 - AVR-controlled LED-based juggling
equipment :)
Looking forward to hacking and eating cake with y'all
