loose dog

There is a small tan dog (my guess would be it's at least part Chihuahua) running loose near the 4200 block of Russell. When I saw it, it was heading south from the Castleman alley toward Russell. My dogs were with me in the backyard, so I wasn't able to chase the little dog down. He looked happy and well fed with a collar, a few white marks, and a curling tail. I hope he finds his way home.

That sounds like MArley. He lives in the 4200 block of Castleman on
the even side next door to where Joe used to live.

He was out and about around 9pm last night as well. I tried to call to
him but he was running away, not like he was scared, but definitely
with purpose. I just assumed he was running home. Is he let free to
roam, or is this a case of loose doggie? He's pretty small and
difficult to see when driving which worries me he could get hit....

usually they walk him... without a lease but with them. I will
try to go over later and ask to see if he is missing.

I've seen that same dog running loose off and on for the last month. I almost got him/her once, but my dog freaked out at the last minute and took off after him. I saw him last weekend, but he ran away from me when I went out in my alley (4100 of russell/flora) to try to get him/her.

Hi Neighbors,
Wanted to let everyone know that our 2nd anniversary and St. Patrick's Day are one and the same this year, so we will be serving corned beef and cabbage with boiled new potatoes, and strawberry cake on Saturday, March 17th. The cake, my mom's favorite, is free with any entree, so come on by and celebrate with us!
On another note, I'm not sure how many of you are aware of it, but both Mama Josephine's and Sweet Art were chosen as part of the 30 restaurants hand picked by RFT's food editor, Ian Froeb, to participate in the Iron Fork Event. The event will be held at the Union Station Marriott on March 22nd and is a benefit for the St. Louis Area Foodbank. All the restaurants will be serving samples of their food, so if you get the chance, come by and watch the competition and sample some really great food!
