Job Title: Java Developer w/Production Support
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 5+ months contract

 

Must-haves
4.5-7 yrs of extensive experience on development and production support (L2 Support Only)
MAXIMUM 8 years of experience in IT 
Exposure on doing production support to large scale applications
Experience on Java. Core skills includes, Java, SQL, Unix and Sybase (Sybase is the preferred database but Oracle is okay!)
Excellent written and communication skills. Need to interact with technical, business and end users.

 

Plusses
Exposure to Python 
Production Support on banking application

 

Role
These consultants will be joining a Production Support team who needs additional help to support all of the applications. Every day they will looking at the ticketing system, working with the end clients and users, finding the root cause of an issue, and fixing the problem. Must have great communication skills as they will be working with clients!
