Yes, it's not Shakespeare... but it is what Shakespeare might have written had he been to the Middle East!

Dear Friends,
Sorry if you go this already. Due to a breakdown in our system, some lists have been mixed...
In case you were considering coming to the launch party, I am resending it, as we will need the final headcount for the restaurant.
If you are not coming tonight, we would love to welcome you at the festival itself on April 13th or subsequent nights. Remember: It can't happen without you!
HAPPY NOOR (Light in Arabic and Farsi and...)
Please circulate widely to your lists and specially to interested friends.

The First Annual Noor Play Festival of short plays relating to the Middle East is opening on the 13th-15 of April at the Wings Theatre (Christopher Street, NYC). Here is the link to the press release and images on the PR wire:

There will be a launch party on March 31st at PARS Persian Restaurant featuring good Iranian food, celebrities, Middle Eastern music by renowned singer of Middle Eastern and Persian favorites Monica Jalili and more... and it will be great if you can come to the launch of this First Annual niche festival whose time has come! www.noorplayfestival.com
Tix to the launch party are $60 dinner and $120 dinner, program mention as sponsor and CD of Monica Jalili. Please reserve online by going to: www.fracturedatlas.org and get a tax deduction.
We will be honored if you can attend the festival opening night April 13th or subsequent nights (tix are $ 18), and hope to have your support and endorsement of this important niche project.
Warmest spring wishes,
nora

p.s.
I am directing the centerpiece play 'The Sort of Happy Ending to the Sad Tale of Ali Ali: or The Lighter Side of Outsourcing Torture" and another on Egypt called "Khawaga Story" (with Kathryn Kates) in the festival.
