Pinewood Derby

Scouts and parents start your engines!! The PINEWOOD DERBY is set for Saturday March 17Th at Sleepy Hollow School. Check in begins at 10 A.M. the racing begins at High Noon. There will be a check in table where the cars will be weighed , inspected and given a race number. If your scout's car doesn't pass the initial inspection , don't worry, there will be a work area for you to make the necessary adjustments. Then the cars will be reinspected. The scouts should be in full uniform so they may enter the uniform raffle where they will have a chance to win a prize. During the race there will be raffles for the scouts and if you start to work up an appetite you can get snacks ,a BIG SAMMY HOT DOG or maybe a slice of pizza from the RANDALL ROAD HOUSE. If you have a friend that might be interested in Cub Scouts this would a fun event for him to see. So bring him along. So get those finishing touches done on those cars and we'll see you all Saturday.   Happy Racing CM Scott
