Hi Sea Lions - Between now and January 28 we will be electing the
club's three-member Steering Committee for 2012. For 2011 it was
Roxanne, Tom and Gus.

We will count the votes and summarize the work of the year at the
annual Club meeting

The meeting will be on January 28. We’ll meet at 5 PM at Tom’s place
(52 Isis in SOMA-SF). After the club meeting we will have “a little
party”.

More info on the meeting and party to come soon. Most likely we will
cook something delicious and we will need your help preparing and
eating it.

Your vote is important, please fill the ballot attached and mail it
(to Manny Rodriguez) in or bring it to practice or to the Jan 28
meeting. Mark your three choices in a 1, 2, 3 rank. They will get 3, 2
and 1vote respectively.

Your mailed vote will be opened only at the public meeting. Your
folded, anonymous ballot will then be put in the ballot box. If you
bring the ballot to practice you will put it in the ballot box
yourself. Manny will be the "electoral authority" this year, he will
be in charge of the ballot box.

For your vote to count pay the 2012 USOA dues and any debt to the club
before the January 28 vote count. To pay USOA go to
www.usauwh.com/member and either login or “create new membership”,
fill your info and pay with PayPal or credit card.

You can vote for any club member, even if not listed in the ballot,
just write the name in the empty slots. The members listed below (and
in the ballot) have been nominated and all have agreed to serve if
elected (thanks!!!).

If you have ideas for the future of underwater hockey in SF come to our member meeting Saturday January 28 5pm-6:30pm at 52 Isis St, 94103 San Francisco (near Rainbow Grocery). If you can't attend in person get your ballot to Manny (at practice or to address on the ballot) this week. Share ideas by email or after practice and we'll add them to the agenda. Here's mine: Assuming we continue averaging >13 players/practice in Q1 Tom proposes reducing fees 15% starting Q2.

Please respect everybody's time by helping us to start on time Saturday January 28. Hockey start time is 4:30pm. I hear Plummer John is coming out of hibernation and we'll light the paella ring after business is done. Yummy!
