What the F? They sponsor racers and cannot even get it right?

I acknowledge excellent performance for car applications, but really, the bike stuff is completely ridiculous.

Garmin = grrrrrrr-mahn with a middle finger!

Chris,

You might get better sympathy from people here who could help you. Unless you want to just vent, and that's acceptable but you might want to do that in the Garmin forums. In all this, you haven't once mentioned what problem you are experiencing.

I'm no expert on Garmin but I have a 500 and recently an 810. I also have other Garmin items - one for hiking and one for the car. Garmin is not known for their flawless interface or software. It always seem unnecessarily complex and obtuse. That being said I have generally had good experience with them and their customer service is pretty darn good. I forgot when updating the software on the 500 to unmount it (using a Mac) and it bombed out and would not come back alive. This happened a little over 7 days ago and a new unit is out of delivery as I write this.

I do think the 810 is more intuitive to use but I just started so I may have to retract that after I have used it more.
