Seems like this ride turned out a little bit differently for everyone.  The continuing unusually cool coastal weather we've had this summer was definitely a factor. We started with some fog in the morning stretch north of Santa Cruz, came back south to mid-day sun in Santa Cruz, went further south under overcast skies down to Marina, then finally hit some sunny summer weather with the typical strong northwest winds in the Salinas Valley until after dark, then cold temperatures and thick fog on the way back from Marina to Aptos. It was nice seeing so many familiar faces, and I had a great group to finish the ride with. Now after the last two weekends of riding I think I have some bikes to clean!
