I attended the CPR certification course at the Sunnyvale Sports Basement store. Sports Basement sponsors these ASHI CPR/AED certification courses. There is no charge for taking these courses and they are offered at all the local Sports Basement stores. I copied in info below that states when and where these courses are conducted every month. I highly recommend taking this course or a similar one. Then you are ready when the situation arises. Help doesn’t usually arrive within seconds when riding on remote country roads or even most other places. And situations do happen. I was transferring between planes in Seattle when returning from Alaska in June. Person in front of me collapsed. Help didn’t arrive as soon as I would have expected. Thus doing CPR quickly can make a difference. 50% more if an AED can be accessed (have one in large event sag vechicles?)
You are issued an ASHI-approved Certification Card that contains a link to download a digital copy of the course handbook. One reason that the courses can be offered for free is because you can’t keep the provided hard copy material used during the course.
