Hey Everyone,

This weekend is the NAHBS and it happens to co-incide with the launch of Rivet Cycle Works. YES! Saddles arrived yesterday. Just in time...

So here's the shameless plug. Please come visit the bike show. It will be incredible from what I've seen of the bikes being set-up. There are many beauties to check out including the new Rivets in booth 831.

Will have a bit of swag with a purchase (if you mention that you're a DBCer or a SFRando, or a FoR - Friend of Rivet) and a bit of a discount (20%), and if you bring a biz card or drop your name in the musette bag, you could be the winner of the first Rivet Black Ti event. A new Rivet titanium saddle... in black, of course.

Please come by and say hey, we'd love to see you.
Enjoy the show and the brevet on Saturday.
Cheers,
deb

Deb, for those of us not attending the show, how and when can we order?

Thanks!

I had such a great showing of support today at day 1 of NAHBS! I sold saddles to many SFR friends. I am so thankful for you guys! People stopped by and paid a visit, warm wishes etc. lots of buzz about the saddles and I thought we had a good day.

Ely was rockin on a bike i had set up to try saddles, and then he'd jump off and talk bags! Tons of energy. We tried to get him to ride a 200k on the trainer to let folks know what it was like. We told him we'd spritz water at him every once in a while, let him get off and go to the bathroom and drink some chocolate milk and we'd stamp his show booklet. His Potis bag is grabbing attention as is his new bag am for willy which is on display with the .vanilla.

Willy's Vanilla was a total people magnet as the Vanilla crew did not come to the show, so Willy's ride is the only Vanilla in the hall. Lots of admirers around that, and for Darell's new mixed terrain bike completed 3 days ago by the great builder Kimo from Davis.

For those of you who can't make it up here, do not worry. I have stock! And will be able to fill orders for you once I return from Taiwan (heading there on Sunday evening-yes, sleep when you're dead, or on a long plane ride).

My plan is give all SFR Rando friends a 20% discount and a pair of Rivet sox. I'll be back on the 14th and will be open for biz and orders then.

My best to you all.
Cheers,
Deb

Deb, I had way too much fun hanging with you and the Rivet crew. Thank you for a fantastic weekend and the opportunity to test out those pretty saddles. If you still have the test saddles by the end of the show on Sunday, I'll buy the one that we did the butt-cam on. I think it's already molded to my butt anyway.

Did a test ride on Sunday on my brand new Rivet Pearl Ti in Black,
East Bay Sampler Populaire 100km+.
All I can say: http://rivetcycleworks.com

I also have a prototype of Diablo version (narrow one) in white with
Cr-Mo rails already broken in, you can try it (contact me off list,
there is a waiting list).

I also have a white Rivet Pearl with cro-mo rails, if anyone is in the SF area and wants to test it out, I'm in the Mission.
However, I can't decide what bike to put it on, because I have to get new handlebar tape to match  the saddle, it's so pretty.
