Ever wanted to hide your files collection from your mum? Wanted to worry the
hell out of a computer owner when Windows tells them that folders can't be
found, yet they can see them infront of their very eyes? Now I have the
solution:
To restrict access to a folder (thats say full of porn):
1. Drop into dos (not a dos prompt, real DOS)
2. Type:
rename (folder name) Alt+0160 (enter key)
Now you have to hold down Alt, press that number (0160) on your keypad (to
ther right of your keyboard) making sure num lock is on, and release Alt. It
will insert a "nothing" charactor, a null character if u will.
Now if you go back into Windows, the folder will have a _ as its name, and
be unaccessable! No more being sprung with porno by mum!! To access that
folder again, go back into DOS (real dos) and type:
rename Alt+0160 (newname)
Again, Alt+0160 is: Hold down Alt and type 0160 on the keypad. Have Fun
