"In addition to the general surgery experience, residents must have adequately structured, hands-on educational experiences in the following subspecialty areas: otorhinolaryngology, to include oral health, urology and ophthalmology.  This must be in addition to resident experience with continuity patients during routine care in the FPC and must involve disorders that are commonly seen in a family physician's office."
