Event email interface description options

Is there any way to change the interface naming choice used by the
outgoing events? In the client we set Options> Interface naming -> By
ifAlias but since thats a client only setting it looks like emails go
out with ifName which is a very lackluster string. Anyone find a way
to change that in the event emails?

Hi David,

You are right in how the interface naming option works, and there's
unfortunately no way to change it for events (I think the current
format is agentIP>ifIndex). We might look at making this more flexible
in a future release.
