I went to it on a wednesday night (11/25/98).
Cost: Nevada resident $9.95 Tourist $14.95
COMMENT. The best bucks I have ever spent on any SF exposition (I don't
care if you consider ST (all series) SF or Fantasy), this this is FUN..
There is a VERY long, back lit Story board that ties all the ST stories
together, , and gives DATES both in Star Dates and Earth Years (for
Instance, Khaless (?), Klingon hero, lived about 600 CE (earth years)
Without trying to give this thing away, and spoil any bodies trip, it
was great, The static exhibits (costumes, equipment) the biographical
data, etc., makes it great fun. Take your time with it, I spent about a
hour or more in the exhibits before going onto the ride aspect.
Warning. They make comments about how pregnant ladies, people prone to
motion sickness, or people with injuries (NW) should not take the ride.
They are correct. It does get VERY jerky at times (no, I mean violent
motions of the body).
I would recomment trying to go early on a week night. Lines on weekends
are prohibitive. Many SF touches in this area of the hotel/casino, in
design of slot sysbols, etc. Quarks bar is "cute" (not part of the
exibit)
I did win a little at the Poker Bar.

LV is one of the places that has never been on my list to visit. Now,
because of you, Bob, it looks as though I'll have to. Sounds like a barrel
of fun!!!!
