Yes. That is all of the Omega Phasers.  Aaron gave me a list of the phasers that needed to be added.

Paul,

With the new Omega phaser types.  Do they obey the rules of Omega phasers in that

1. PW-1 can fire as PW-1 or PW-3.

2. PM-1 can fire as PM-1 or PM-3.

3. PR-1 can fire as PR-1 or PR-3.

4. PP-1 can fire as PP-1 or PP-3 but cannot fire as PP-2.

5. PP-2 can fire as PP-2 or PP-3 but cannot fire as PP-1.

6. PQ-1 can fire as PQ-1 or PQ-3 but cannot fire as PQ-2

7. PQ-2 can fire as PQ-2 or PQ-3 but cannot fire as PQ-1.

8. PA-1 can fire as PA-1 or PA-3.

9. PE can fire as PE only but 3 times.

10. IPE can fire as IPE or PE... only useful if hastily repaired as PE.

With the Omega phasers, Omega phaser 4s are mentioned, but the firing tables for them were never created.

Did you also do LMC lasers?

Ken Burnside actually created a Heavy Warp Laser table for warp tuned lasers.

LMC lasers cannot be downfired as a lighter laser type although they can be hastily repaired as a lighter type and than fired as that lighter type.

One last question.  Most of the Omega phasers have a corresponding phaser 4, but the exact rules and firing tables for those Omega P4s don't exist as far as I know.

If down firing a PQ-4 would it fire as a PQ-1 or a PQ-2?

Not sure if you want to put the omega phaser 4s in as a place holder in case somebody adds them at a later date.

Best Regards,

Barry Kirk

They do not have the "Fired As" available. I had very little time to get it done. The client was broke when it came to some functionality that Dale M. needed now.

I am not sure about the LMC lasers. If I can get a list, I can easily add the missing ones.

When it comes to Omega Phaser 4s, Aaron S. asked for them. So I added them.

Paul,

The LMC laser types are as follows.

1. Heavy Laser.  ( equiv to P4 )

2. Medium Laser. ( equiv to P1 )

3. Early Laser    ( equiv to P2 ? )

4. Light Laser ( equiv to P3 )

5. Twin Laser ( equiv to pair of P3 )

6. Option Laser... can be a Medium or Twin Laser selectable as an option mount.

I just checked and all of the below are in the client. Though "Option Laser" is called "Laser Option". Which is correct?

Paul,

Laser Option is the correct phrase.  However, while re-reading C5, to answer your question, it pointed out that L-OPT mounts are not conventional option mounts in the sense that the weapons in them, either Medium or Twin Lasers are selected at the moment the ship is constructed and can't be switched outside of a major shipyard refit.

For client purposes however, I think it's OK to just treat them as option mounts, since the alternative is to have lots of SSDs, one for each combination.  With the CA with four L-OPT mounts it would require 16 SSDs.

Yeah. That is how I handle NWO for HDW ships.
